WirelessFieldService provides mobile software for field users/technicians and a web-based component for dispatchers, managers, owners, customer service, etc.
The mobile software runs on Windows Mobile devices such as:
- Motorola MC55 and MC75
- Intermec CN3, CN4 and CN50
- Consumer devices from Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile such as the HTC Fuze, AT&T Tilt and HTC Touch Pro 2
The typical workflow for mobile user follows.

Main Menu
- Menu options are shown based on the security roles assigned to the user by your administrator

Work Order List
- View work orders by day
- View all work orders
- Show parts scheduled for work orders – this allows drivers to load the parts they need for one day or for all work orders

View on Map
- View customer addresses on a map and get driving directions
- Optionally, you can add on GPS tracking and navigation, which provides on-screen turn-by-turn directions and voice commmands

View or Set Work Order – Status
- Techs can open a work order to start work or set a status
- Status changes are sent in real-time back to the central dispatch, so they know when techs arrive on-site, are running late, waiting parts, etc.

- View the contact for the work order, so techs know who to contact and where they are located at the customer

View/Add Parts
- Add parts to a work order by scanning or by parts lookup

Lookup Parts to Add to Work Order
- If you don’t have a barcode scanner or need to find parts by description, you can use a fast parts lookup screen
- WFS supports parts catalogs greater than 10,000 items

View/Add Labor to Work Order
- Track and add labor associated with the work order

Customer Electronic Signature
- Provide Proof of Delivery (POD) by having customers electronically sign the work order for approval
- Signatures are available as images and print on completed work orders
- Work orders can be automatically emailed to customers once complete
